Question Garden is developed and maintained without external funding or investors. This page explains how financial support helps keep the project alive and growing.
Why Donations Matter
Keeping Question Garden online has a cost. The goal right now is to cover basic running costs (server, domain and maintenance), currently around 2,500.00 EUR per year. This may grow over time, for example to expand the server or bring on help.
Donations help cover these costs and keep the project running. All donations, regardless of amount, make a difference and are deeply appreciated.

We've currently raised 15 EUR out of our 2,500.00 EUR yearly goal.
Support Breakdown
- 50 EUR/year: covers the domain for the year.
- 250 EUR/year: covers the domain and about ten months of server hosting.
- 750 EUR/year: covers hosting plus about two and a half months of development time.
- 1,500 EUR/year: covers hosting plus about six and a half months of development time.
- 2,500 EUR/year: covers everything for the full year: domain, server, and development time.
Latest project updates
- 23 July 2026
- Daily and weekly question reminder emails now use the Question Garden visual style, with the weekly email matching the all questions page calendar layout
- Cancelling a recurring donation now takes effect immediately — your account shows the cancellation date and a confirmation email is sent
- Visiting a past question date that has no question now shows a friendly message instead of an empty answer form
- All member-facing emails now use the Question Garden visual style with fonts, colours, and a plain text fallback
- Daily question reminders are now sent by email — registering with a reminder frequency set will add you to the mailing list automatically
